A friend of mines father in law is the commander of a local American Legion Post so I decided to photograph some of the members after the memorial day parade at their building.
I am tired of so many people telling me about their new camera and their new lenses and how because they spent so much money they can take such good pictures. So I bought a disposable camera for 4.99 and got it developed and scanned at CVS for next to nothing. This is literally the lowest quality camera I can find with the lowest quality processing and scanning I could find. I was riding around with my camera and found this 4 boys playing roller hockey so I photographed each one individually and each one playing hockey. I sized the images down of them playing hockey, besides that, these are scans exactly as they came out from CVS.
I got a small point and shoot camera to carry around with me everywhere. Not sure how much I like it yet, but it is tiny which is nice. Here are some shots from the train ride back from the city.
I went to the dirt bike track yesterday and failed horribly at riding around in the dirt, but took some pretty cool photos. I set up my own little studio in the parking lot and grabbed people as they were going on and off the track for photos.
So I met Jim recently and he was cool enough to let me photograph his house and invite me back whenever I want. The house was even in American Gangster
I went to Rhinebeck for a car show this weekend and did a test run for the photo shoot I am going to have at Carlisle later this year. Here are some shots
