Leica

So I bought a brand new Leica camera today, and it came out of the box faulty. There were some issues with it, so I am getting a new one but it might take up to a month to get it. So I dished out all of my money for it and have to wait a month to shoot it, awesome. At least my mom got a new haircut, and the studio was set up from a shoot earlier this week so I shot her with the good ole Hasselblad.

More test shots

I have been assisting for the past week non-stop. We took a test shot today that was amazing. Bald IS beautiful.

East River Bridge

Hopefully gonna get an amazing new camera soon, but until then I will be using my Iphone camera. The saw the bridge on the way to the city today and just had time to whip out the iphone before the train flew by.

Coffee

I assisted a photographer today I work for often. He is quite large, not fat, just tall and full, and looks like a wild man with long hair and a beard. He has a lot of awesome quarks that I have gotten to love over the many years I have known him. The way he uses things is really great, like this coffee. The lid isn't folded back or taken off, it is ripped in half. Awesome!

Duck Hunting

After an exhilarating day of fishing, we woke up at 5:00 AM and went duck hunting. Even though nothing flew over, I still got some great shots.

Port A

Port Aransas is one of my favorite places. I have been here for the past couple of days fishing and hunting with a great friend I went to school with and lived with. Here is a few shots from today after returning from an amazing off shore fishing trip. We were 20 miles of shore, in a 20 foot boat. Good thing it was calm out.

Promo Piece

My promo piece is finally done. I will be sending everything out later this month when my new portfolio is printed, my new business cards arrive, and my new website is up. A very good friend of mine has been sick recently, so a lot of things have been put on hold for a little while. I am starting to get back into things, here is the next shot of this series. I have some really great ideas on where to take this series so check back soon.
