Luggage

We have a bunch of suitcases from a Samsonite shoot and we have to photograph some of them Monday. I was told to lay them out in the studio, so I made the best layout I could think of.

Centralia

Centralia, PA was a major coal mining town until the 1960's. At one time it had 27 saloons, 5 hotels and 6 churches. In 1962 a fire started in a stone shaft and spread to the gigantic mine that supported the town. Today there are only 7 residents left. The government declared eminent domain and relocated everyone that would move, the post office revoked the zip code, and slowly each vacant building was demolished. Today there are only 5 houses, 3 graveyards, and one church left. The streets are still there, but extremely overgrown with all different plants. I had to check the area out. Here are some 360 degree shots of two major intersections. The first is Main St. and Peach St. and the second is North St. and Paxton St.

Surf Day

Went surfing today. It was amazing, I actually caught a wave. I rode it on my stomach, but none the less I did ride it. Here are some shots of the other clowns that were there.

Dark Lunch

There are a ton of Chinese restaurants near me and I have been slowly trying them all to see which ones are good and which ones aren't. So this is this little one in the center of town that there were a bunch of Chinese people waiting outside of over the weekend so I figured it had to be good. I went in yesterday for lunch and the food was terrible, it was like someone grabbed a frozen bag of chinese food from a jewish grocery store and covered it in salt.

Most Bad Ass Job Ever

I have been working for about a week at my new job now. It is awesome, today we had a 30 minute skate break then a 30 minute soccer break then lunch.

Slow

I am slow at putting these blogs up, but it is my honeymoon so too bad. The internet here is also rather slow so here is a photo I took but it is smaller than what I like to post because of the slow internet. When I get back I will replace it with a larger edited version.

Walk Around

We started walking around some in between the chaos over the past few days. We found this great moon gate and an awesome shipyard. Here is a little more of what we saw and in just a few hours our wedding will begin.
